Monthly fees are automatically invoiced and charged on the 1st day of each month. Monthly fees are non-refundable. Any declined or insufficient funds transactions require resolution by the 5th of the month. Failure to address payment issues by the 5th will incur a $25.00 late payment fee.
Lesson Scheduling and Attendance Policies:
Art lessons cannot be carried over from one month to the next. Monthly fees are not subject to proration, except for the initial month. If lessons commence mid-month, the membership fee for that month will be prorated, with payment due before lesson commencement. Monthly payment secures the student’s studio placement. Students commit to attending weekly lessons at the designated day and time.
Our studio offers three distinct class levels:
- Young at Art: Tailored for artists aged 4-7.
- Crazy Artsy: Designed for children aged 8-12.
- Art Daze: Geared towards teens aged 13 and above.
Invoices Fine Art for Fun classes are sent out at a flat rate of $100 per month. This fixed rate remains consistent regardless of the number of weeks in a particular month. The reason for this approach is to accommodate varying month lengths due to breaks and holidays, ensuring a fair and predictable billing system for all parents.
It's important to note that this flat monthly fee covers a comprehensive package. This includes the cost of teaching for one hour per session, all necessary art supplies provided for the benefit of the students (eliminating the need for parents to shop for specific products).
We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and students may be unable to complete their classes. In such cases, contact me.
We appreciate your understanding of this billing structure, which aims to simplify the payment process and ensure a consistent and high-quality art education experience for your child.
Please provide at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations to qualify for a make-up lesson. Make-up lessons may be scheduled during another class time. For special circumstances requiring cancellation within 24 hours of the session, please discuss with me.
As a single-teacher studio, there may be instances where I need cancel a lesson due to personal reasons. In such cases, I will either reschedule the lesson or issue a refund on your next invoice.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. These policies ensure the smooth operation of our studio and the best learning experience for all students.
Punctuality is essential! Time lost due to student tardiness will not carry over to the next lesson and will not be prorated. My schedule is typically tightly booked with consecutive lessons or other obligations and I cannot extend sessions to accommodate tardiness.
For the smooth operation of the studio, I require that students arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before their art lesson and depart no later than 5 minutes after its conclusion. If students show up earlier or stay later than 5 min, they are welcome to sit and wait outside.
Please refrain from parking in neighboring driveways or obstructing mailboxes. Parking is available in the studio driveway or along the street in front of the studio. Parents are welcome to wait inside if desired.
In my art lessons, I warmly welcome parents who would like to wait inside. While their presence adds to the supportive atmosphere, I kindly request that parents refrain from interfering with their child's artwork or making discouraging remarks about the work created. Our goal is to foster a positive and nurturing environment where children feel empowered to express themselves freely and explore their creativity without fear of judgment. We encourage parents to observe and engage with their child's artistic process in a constructive manner, offering encouragement and support along the way. Together, let's cultivate a space where artistry flourishes and confidence grows!
