Sometimes an artist needs a little more room to work at their own pace.
Private lessons at Follow Your Art are individualized, one-on-one sessions designed around each student’s interests, goals, experience level, and learning style.
Whether a student wants to strengthen drawing skills, explore painting, try a new material, work through a specific project, or simply have a quieter space to create, private lessons give us the flexibility to focus on what matters most to them.
I teach the fundamentals and techniques that help artists grow, while still encouraging each student to develop their own ideas, style, and creative voice.

Private Lessons May Include
- Drawing and sketching

- Help developing personal projects and ideas

Lessons are not based on a rigid curriculum. We can spend more time where a student needs it, move ahead when they're ready, and build projects around the things they're genuinely interested in creating.
A Quieter, More Flexible Option
Private lessons can also be a great fit for students who feel more comfortable learning one-on-one or who benefit from a quieter, lower-pressure environment.
I welcome students with different learning styles and work to create a calm, encouraging space where they can ask questions, experiment, build skills, and gain confidence in their artwork.
Pricing & Scheduling
$50 per hour
Private lessons may be scheduled weekly or biweekly, depending on availability.
Your first introductory meeting is free. This gives us a chance to meet, talk about interests and goals, and decide what direction lessons should take before committing to a regular schedule.
Art supplies are not included with private lessons. I will help families determine which materials are needed based on the projects and mediums we choose.
